They're acting out of ignorance and hate, much like you now.

Do you really think calling people savages, apes and monkeys does any good? Or possibly do you have brain cells and see that posts like yours on twitter and Facebook justify what these people feel towards the white community?

Honestly, this board has criticized the media for inflaming these protests yet threads continue copying and pasting the media articles and videos people keep criticizing as being inflammatory. Makes no sense. Anyone smart enough to figure that the media are businesses and make their money getting you to click and watch and copy and paste this garbage?

Just sayin.

Carry on.

And keep blaming the media... As if you're not part and parcel of this stupidity.

People talking crap like this is simply enabling their childish behavior. They are NOT acting out of ignorance. They are acting ignorant and their actions should be called out.

Throwing a temper tantrum and blocking highways (commerce) and causing lives to be threatened (you never know with allergic reactions) is not a way to move anything forward.

Quit excusing unacceptable behavior - you are a bigot by lowering acceptable standards for blacks. It does black people no good at all to have one set of rules of what is acceptable for everyone except them.

The standard is the standard. period.

You are more racist than the people calling them apes and monkeys. Your racism is just more subdued and of a different stripe.

am not for one second defending these protesters, but inciting more racist threads here and twitter and Facebook does little to calm what is becoming, very dangerous

So wait, you're saying that we shouldn't even discuss what's happening because just by discussing it, it's racist. Hmmmm. Think about what you're saying. Maybe if the protesters weren't acting like out of control monsters, no one would compare them to animals. Nothing racist about commenting and describing what is taking place. In fact, it needs to be highlighted and discussed if we ever want to truly move FORWARD in understanding and improving race relations. But it's interesting that the Progressive types are the ones who do NOT want to progress forward in this area. Realy odd don't you think?

The terms "monkeys" and "apes" are not appropriate. That is all I am saying.

This is true. Open & honest discussion is the only way we will ever move past this. However, name calling only spirals the discussion off topic and undermines relevant issues of behavior and objectives.

What sickens me is the lengths men like MLK went to in order to peacefully protest and make a real impact on society.

It's like these people - those who are uneducated and ignorant - are ruining the legacy he and so many others fought to create.

It's certainly not the entire AA culture. I know plenty who are either constructively protesting the decision by talking to their representatives about changing laws and those who are simply respecting the court's decision.

And then there are those experiencing white guilt... and the media... I pretty much despise both. Feeling guilty and apologizing or harping on the negatives is not going to fix the problems. Education will.

Understand. But at the same time, when humans act out like animals (regardless of color), what's the appropriate comparison? Should we just use the term animals? Or is that racist too if a black is involved? I've called white people animals before - not racist correct? I've called little white kids "monkeys" before - no racist correct? The faux racial sensitivities are pretty freakin stupid these days.

Well obviously. But it's annoying to be associated with these idiot protesters just because I share their pigment.

Then do something about it. Nobody is stopping you. Organize a counter protest to point out the problems you have with these idiot protesters.

He technically is white. Black people are so disconnected from reality they got a whiff of a mixed person as president and freaked the frick out and love him no matter what. Sheeple gonna sheep.

Had he merely stated "those people," or "those guys," or "they," he'd still be wrong, correct? I mean, third person pronouns and the like are racist code words from what I've heard.
