Transgender airman's Facebook post goes viral

(KNOE 8 News) - Last month, President Trump tweeted the U.S. shouldn't accept any transgender people to serve in the military.
For one nearby airman, not serving isn't an option.
Sterling Crutcher is stationed at the Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City.
Friday makes his second year putting on his uniform.
"I joined to serve. And I joined because my grandfather inspired me to want to serve for something greater," Crutcher said.
He was born a woman but has since transitioned into a man.
He's always defending his identity when it's attacked.

Don't worry, the Republican Party will join the Dems in restoring Obama's policy on this as soon as they both can dump Trump.
Has ANY major GOP figure expressed support for Trump's policy on this issue? NO.

So the Military has become all about Him and His PERSONAL interest/eccentricity...as opposed to the Economic and practical EFFICIENCY in the task of defending our Nation?
The Military should not be a FREE way for a sex change operation. Transgender service does NOT make the Military one point more effective or efficient. The costs alone make Trump's decision a rational one...for the NATION...but not for individuals who bring exceptional burdens to the Institution.

They can have the Coast Guard. They're DHS, anyway. Transgender seamen.
We need the Air Force overseas more, and unit cohesion is more important.
