To the jackasses who feel sorry for these border children....

If you feel so sorry for these kids (and adults too)....if it's all about being Christian....if it's all about doing the right thing....if it's all about humanitarianism...
Why the hell aren't you up in arms demanding your govt send planes to Guatemala and Honduras and go get these crumbsnatchers? Why allow them to travel through Mexico under such dangerous conditions?
Why aren't you up in arms over the 40 or so that were just sent back? I realize that that was likely a symbolic move to get some press, but why aren't you crying for these poor beings?

My wife and I would adopt any of the younger ones tomorrow, but our government has made it basically impossible to do so and their government is so corrupt you can't get anywhere with them.

Yes, because today is exactly the same as it was back then.....
No one wants to see anyone sent back to their home country to suffer. However, because of the way our society is structured, there has to be a process to allow people into the country or else the weight of the burden on tax payers will crush them.
People don't hate the kids or their parents, but we understand that just allowing EVERYONE to free roam across the border without accountability will eventually crush this nation as it constructed now.
Looking at things logically, completely eliminates arguments based solely on tugging heart strings. Not sure why people don't debunk emotionally motivated arguments more often.

Get rid or greatly reduce welfare and entitlements and I fully support open borders. If there are jobs, they'll come here to fill them. If there aren't, they won't come.
Right now we can't take care of or employ our own citizens....we damn sure can't employ or subsidize millions more.

That and he won't be the one carrying the financial burden for them either.
People on the left are ok with spending other people's money freely, so his opinion on it shocks me very little.
