I can't explain it folks . But whatever this virus of violence and evil and disharmony and division and hatred in the culture is , it really hit me today. I have never had anxiety or depression but today I've had trouble functioning. My kids school even got locked down . And then Tom Petty . Which is like the turd on the top of the day.

I am just worn out by all this inhumanity. Im sure many of you are too.

In South(-ish) Florida? It's going to be a long walk.

It feels like a "plan" is coming together. My instincts are telling me something, and I am very much listening with all my ability. I can't put a proper word to it, but I feel as though it's a fulfillment of "man's legacy" towards one another, and it is being dictated for "us".

We think we are a great country disconnected from our actions as a people. We aren’t. We are what we do. And we’re a selfish, self-absorbed lot.

Modernity is atomized. This kind of thing wouldn't happen if we loved more localized lives, surrounded by tribe.
I believe something catastrophic will happen to localize us. Can't go on like this.

You don't seem fully "bought in".

Very true and profound words. While our nation is in fact historically great, and we have the framework for it to be the greatest on earth, our actions are keeping us from being great. There is too much disconnection and as my mom would say “meanness” and not nearly enough appreciation for our fellow man.

It's just all too easy to dismiss some of these events as random...everything I have in me wants truth and answers, yet I know reaching for those answers will be like trying to grab the wind by hand, over and over again.

We live in a world where virtually ANYthing is accepted. There seem to be no agreed upon morals anymore. Hell, we cant even agree as a country to stand for the national anthem.

It's called civility. And sadly we are lacking it.

Wow, exactly my thoughts today.

This day has certainly taken much of my optimism from me. Soldier on Baw.

The Tracy Porter interception and fan reaction videos... If ever I'm in a shite mood I watch that. Also weird animals as pets, those are cool too.

I'll be honest, when I watched the video of the shots at the beginning of the concert I became very very angry thinking "that coward mother fricker shooting at unarmed, innocent people at a concert -- this guy deserved to die a traitors death"..

Yeah, it bothered me too.

Super Bowl or NFC Championship Game? Both are incredibly enjoyable.
