The point of a factory is not to produce jobs for Americans but to produce products for Americans

Haha. This is a company in Indianapolis who wants some of that Mike Pence - Donald Trump love in the form of government giveaways.

Leave it to liberals to celebrate the closing of an American factory.

That's old outdated conservatism, the new conservatism is all about protectionism and creating jobs through federal intervention.

Their hope is the workers go on UE and on the govt tit, therefore they "win" their vote.

It is understandable they would celebrate.

Yeah, let's focus on this one factory & ignore the fact that business investment is way up.

Dumbass.

Quote DJT from the link:

quote:

Rexnord of Indiana is moving to Mexico and rather viciously firing all of its 300 workers. This is happening all over our country. No more!

I'm not seeing a concern about goods produced.

The factory announced the move during Obama's term. Did you post the news then?

Right. I mean that's a nice to have if it makes business sense, but it's not the point.

but to produce products for Americans
No. It's to produce products that people want to buy at price that you're willing to sell. I would hope all of our large manufacturers and firms are looking to compete for consumers beyond our shores.

That's liberal level stupid. The true point of a factory is to produce profit for its owners.

That article doesn't even make sense.

It spouts a bunch of information and says that he hoped trump would step in and "save the day."

What did he want done?

Leave it to idiots to try and tell a private corporation where they can and can't do business.
