The registration project---in Hammond today

I saw these two black young ladies working the parking lot at the Race Track in Hammond today for the "Registration Project". They had on purple t-shirts with the group's name on them and they carried clip broads with registration sheets.

It was a busy time at the Race Track and those girls made the point to approach every black young man that walked through the parking lot. They did not approach a single white person the 15 minutes I was there. I walked right past them and they didn't even say hello.

Now why would these girls be so assertive in signing up black young adults and ignore everyone else?

I swear one kid had to hold his pants up with one hand while one of the girls held the clipboard as he signed the registration form.

Now why would someone working to "mobilize" certain races of people be granted non-profit 501(c)(3) status?

If we set up a "register the redneck" project to stand around certain Wal Marts, stock car races and gun shows could we get non-profit status?
