Bottom line is why is the U. S. Government responsible for anyone's complete health care? Everyone should have to pay into the system. Illegals, deadbeats, non tax payers (over 50%), liberals, social services leaches and free give away democrats created and took
advantage of this mess.

Because somebody else is expected to pay. People have been sold a bill of goods that a third party has to pay for whatever the cost is, so there is no market anymore.

There are dozens of reasons.

FYI, misguided government regulations are several-fold more responsible than government payers.

Consumer being removed from purchasing decision due to employer subsidized health insurance. Everyone else gets it covered by the government so they don't give a shite what it costs.

That's how we ended up with $40 Tylenol and $100 hospital gowns.

Yup. Everyone wants the ability to stick their neighbors with their bills. The only problem is... their neighbors have the ability to stick them with their bills!

In the end... it'll be no cheaper than paying for it yourself.

Pre-existing conditions; can you buy car insurance after a wreck? How about buying flood insurance after a hurricane. Also, when you pay for the people's/ illegal's care they will abuse it.

Who, pray tell, "allows" companies to overcharge?
