I have not ignored it, Shorty. I have specifically acknowledged that it may well be effective. You may recall our discussion several days ago regarding “Rules for Radicals.” Whether you wish to admit it or not, you are basically using that work as your template.
I don't admit it because it is patently false.

What I described is a super common rhetorical tool that has likely been used in courtrooms you've been in 100s of times.

effective or not, I see it as dishonest. You disagree. That is fine.

I'm right.

It applies to the nonsensical notion that only White people can be racist under my analysis. Explicitly stated by several posters, and implied by you about three or four posts ago.

If the vast majority of the public, for whatever retarded reason, has come to the conclusion that this is a red shirt..........and that if I call it blue, I'm racist........

I can either show them all the other things that must be "red" if this shirt is red............or just intransigently keep saying, "but it's blue!!!!"

One of those things will work.

The other will not.

Um, I implied no such thing............ever.

My entire argument in this thread is simply that you are arguing for unilateral disarmament under the ridiculous notion that demonstrating what is true if X is true is "dishonest" and pretending you aren't familiar with the rhetorical concept as a COMPLETELY VALID TOOL you almost certainly have used yourself in courtrooms or seen used.

Did you seriously not understand that was referring to the fact that your APPROACH of unilaterally disarming benefits ONE group(the left)?

I mean, come on man. Read fricking better. Sheesh

Racists exist at every point on the political landscape, whether leftist or right, whether totalitarian or libertarian (though a rarity in the latter). None of which is applicable to the comments regarding Baltimore, Which I had understood to be the subject of this thread.

This is simply an example to prove the point....

An alien from outerspace lands on Earth in Baltimore. It has no concept of what "race" even is. It's never even seen different skin colors of human beings. In fact, let's assume it's color-blind. And amazingly and conveniently, it speaks English.

Suddenly, a black person walks up to the alien. The alien turns to them and says, "Wow, this place is a shithole." And the black person goes, "You're such a racist!"

Which one of them is considering skin color in their statements?

And is that not an irrational attitude towards race as something other than simply a genetic trait?

And is that not a prejudice and discriminant?

Ergo, people calling Trump "racist" for his comments about Baltimore, which had zero connotation or context involving race, are in fact the only one's considering race in the entire equation. And, they are the ones with the irrational attitude about skin color other than it simply being a genetic trait. And, they are the ones, therefore, being prejudicial and discriminant towards race.

Hence, they are the racists, not Trump or his comments.

So, you define “racism“ as meaning “perceiving racism where no racism exists.“

OK.

I feel like we're watching a boxing match where Hank is ref.

One dude keeps kicking the other dude in the balls and Hanks looks at the dude who just got kicked and says, "this would really be a better fight if you both agreed not to kick each other in the balls".

Then, first dude kicks guy in the balls AGAIN!

Hanks looks back to the dude just got kicked and says, "you're really showing him!!!"

Nailed it. Further, Hank doesn’t really see it as “ball kicking” as much as unfortunately targeted upward leg motions.

See Hank, you need to think on this level to play on the P-T board. Let go of the indoctrination.

I should have added that in my boxing analogy, it's a team event.

So, after 10 straight matches of team A winning after delivering multiple blows to the balls and team B diligently not kicking them back in the balls because to do so would be unfair...........Hank tells the 11th fighter from team B that he really needs to avoid kicking the other guy in the balls.

At some point, Team B can only logically conclude that Ref Hank is on Team A's side

“Considering skin color“ is not necessarily racism. It is that simple. It may be bigotry. It may be racial prejudice. It may be one of any number of things. But, by definition, it is not racism.

Unless you take Shorty’s route and allow the other side to re-define the words in the English language.

If “thinking on the level of the PT board” mandates discarding logic and engaging in poor reasoning,” I will decline.

Bottom line up front, they scream racism whenever they have no argument. It's quite obvious and only the weak-minded morons that worship them believe it. Talk about not being able to think for yourself, they are ridiculous.

Well, team B has won six of the last ten matches, going back to 1980.

Oh just fricking stop it.

Society DOES define words. Not books.

Books reflect society's definition. THAT is why the BOOKS change over time.

You're just being fricking obstinate at this point. You're not stupid.

If 100 people are in a room and 99 of them define a word a particular way, it really doesn't fricking matter whatsoever that the 1 dude has a book that defines it differently.
