Why this activist Pope feels like he has to get involved in everything is beyond me. He really should stick to Catholic church issues, there are plenty for him to deal with.

As a RCC, I respectfully suggest Pope Francis shut his fricking mouth.

The count sits on an actual golden throne managing one the worlds largest cash reserves that was raised ostensibly to "help the poor".

Who cares what the charlatan thinks.

Maybe the pope should turn over his walled city state to the Etruscans.

I'm glad the pope, just like 90% of the people protesting DAPL, is intentionally ignoring most of the actual facts that demonstrate that the tribes are in the wrong here.

Pope Francis is the head of the largest criminal organization the world has ever seen. The Vatican has big money interests all over the world. The Jesus thing is just a front for much more lucrative enterprises.

Well his views on this are obviously going to be what they are. Luckliy, he has no power in our political structure.

FTR, I like the pope and think he has done a lot for many people. But he needs to continue helping the people who need it, not voice his concerns about American politics.

I think he's genuinely a good man, but his leftist politics have gotten old quick.

Holy See denies the story; you should edit

quote:

ROME - Although Pope Francis defended a right of “informed consent” by indigenous peoples regarding “economic activities which may interfere with indigenous cultures and their ancestral relationship to the earth,” the Vatican has denied it was a specific reference to a controversial oil pipeline in the United States.
