I also noticed the anti-Democratic comments from former Democrats on the ABC 7 article about the TRUMP supporter who was pepper sprayed at Berkeley the other night:

Never thought I'd see Jonathan Blow mentioned on this board. 
For the record, he makes some of the best puzzle games out there. Really cool stuff.
I sympathize with a lot of liberal standings, mostly but not all social ones, but there is absolutely an echo chamber effect on the left right now. I'm reminded of the "smugness of the liberal elite" article a Vox writer wrote about 6 months ago. It's hard to talk to these people anymore. If you ever talk in defense of a single Trump action (and I have a few times), you get called a deplorable.

I am amazed to see how a lot of my Dem Liberal friends have gone hard Left since the election and even before. These were formerly thoughtful, reasonable people who are now over the top unreasonable, angry, and unwilling to consider any viewpoint beyond their own. FB is a perfect window thru which to view this tragic sideshow.

Same here. But I love it because I'm also noticing another phenomenon. I pay attention to
my normally apolitical or Barely Political Facebook friends. They are almost Universal in their response. Basically they are all saying what the f*** is wrong with these people. I'm Amazed at how many people on my Facebook that never used to post political stuff suddenly have started. My reaction is Keep It Up left. Who am I to stop you

There is no cure for this brain disease... The left has stooped to new lows of bigotry and foolishness. My favorite ones are the ones wanting to start a civil war. I have a ate up sister in law who believes all guns should be banned but wants a civil war to break out
