The Irony: Trump supporters now mad about the way the electoral college works

After the election, trump supporters derided the left for protesting the electoral college and hillary winning the popular vote citing that it was its the way the system works and everyone knew this going in.
Now, it appears trump supporters are irate over the way the system works. The faithless elector is part of the electoral college system. And there have been more instances of the faithless electors than of an electoral college/popular vote split.
furthermore, trump supporters are mentioning civil unrest, taking up arms, etc, if the electoral college result is changed due to faithless electors. The same thing they critiqued the left on.
Its fricking hysterical. Sorry to interrupt your melt.
For the record, I do not think this is going to be thrown to the house due to faithless electors. Nor do I think it should. But I do find this quite amusing.

Are they? Or are they mocking/deriding prog efforts to undermine the legitimate results of the vote?
Take off your prog colored glasses

I'll be fine with it if I can choose my electors. Show me where the electors names are on the ballot.

Faithless electors isn't how the system works.
You can count the faithless electors over the centuries with your fingers and toes.
They're more rogue actors than anything else.

Are you still pretending to have voted for Gary Johnson?

When you say "more instances", do you mean instances where they have had a profound effect? Or just some contrarians here or there? I am, admittedly, ignorant on this topic. But it sounds like the faithless elector would be more"going against the system" than demonstrating an intentional aspect of it.

Hawkeye95 thinks someone hacking the DNC and podesta emails and releasing them is worse than someone throwing a million 2 year old babies off the empire state building

sure it is.

Actually you can't. There have been 157 faithless electorals.
You can count on one hand the number of times that the popular vote/eclectoral college was split.

Faithless electors were part of the design of the electoral college.
Continue your melt.

Show us where the EC was intended to allow electors to be harassed and threatened if they don't become "faithless".

I, for one, am not upset at how the system works. I'm upset that electors can be influenced by political parties who are bent on undermining the election.

I wish you would have said "some Trump supporters"

What's hysterical is that your dog in the hunt got the hell run over and you're now groping to find a way to get over her death.
