The roach infestation in the FBI is pervasive.

Where was his plan to murder each individual person?!

Why does this matter?

It seems as his plan was to murder as many as he could before he was killed.

Are you suggesting that he would have needed to "intend" to shoot Scalise (personally...specifically) in order for there to have been a 'concrete plan'? If so, I suppose the 9/11 Hijackers / terrorists had "no concrete plan" because they didn't have a specific PERSON in mind to murder. If some frick were to "plan" to murder 'all the black dudes I can find' and he shoots ME along with a group of my friends.....I'm not certain of the ambiguity that would be given to his "plans". silliness.

Even though he took pictures down the road of the baseball park?

Had weapons, been using faces of Republicans as target practice, moved a couple min from baseball park (lived in van) and asked who was practicing Rs or Ds?

I'll agree he might not of targeted Scalise directly but if he bombed a bunch of republicans at a Conference Building that wouldn't be a concrete plan? If not, the 911 sure wasn't a concrete plan either.

No, that's not the distinction. He may show up at my doorstep looking to kill everyone but not have a concrete plan. The distinction isn't that he was possibly trying to shoot shutters, it's the manner in which he did it. Perhaps the order of targets, who the exact targets are, the exact time of day, if there is some type of exit plan.

I'm as anti-Obama as it gets, but I'm not sure how a benign and possibly accurate phrase indicates some kind of bias.

Even with those qualifiers it seems more fluid than concrete to me.

this is what the AP reported:

quote:

At a news conference on Wednesday, FBI officials gave an overview of the evidence they’ve gathered on Hodgkinson. They said he acted alone and had no connections to terror groups. But they said they had not yet clarified who, if anyone, he planned to target, or why, beyond his animus toward President Donald Trump and the Republicans he felt were ruining the country. It wasn’t even clear whether he had prior plans to attack the baseball practice or whether he just happened upon it the morning of June 14, said Tim Slater

I don't see what is so unreasonable about this

The only thing I would take issue with is "happening upon" it. That is clearly incorrect. I don't think it shows some type of bias though.

True...perhaps he just hates helicopter pilots and kinda suddenly "snapped"....while strolling along near an FBO that he happened to photograph recently...and he happened to have a firearm...and he happened to ask "are those REAL pilots or fixed wing pukes?"....etc.

If he's scoping out your house do you not think he's using that to plan his entrance and exit, monitor activity, look at lighting to determine the best way to enter undetected? If his plan is to kill you all, what if he doesn't have an order? Does that mean he didn't have a concrete plan? What if his concrete plan was to kill you first, but your wife was somewhere unexpected so she had to go first? What's that called? Things not going according to plan.

Trump picked Christopher Wray however there have been rumbling that the Trump admin. is having second thoughts thus Trump has not officially nominated Wray, yet. Apparently Wray is a DC deep state insider too.

Unbelievable. Everyone that was involved and okayed this investigation's conclusion should be fired immediately. That is incompetence at the highest level of incompetence. Shame on the FBI and shame on the individuals who made this report.

Yes.

It concluded that they could not find any other motive "beyond his animus toward President Donald Trump and the Republicans he felt were ruining the country."

The Federalist conveniently left that out of their "analysis"

True.

Wrong, his online history proves otherwise. Hate-filled radical left terror groups was his thing.

Ridiculous, it is very clear who this terrorist was targeting. A group of republican soft targets (list of names included) at a low security location.

Incorrect, evidence clearly shows otherwise. This is incompetence and bordering on cover up level stuff.

I think the dude dreamed up a plan to kill some republicans, perhaps at that field or possibly somewhere else that he scouted. Something pushed him over the edge, he saw targets of opportunity at the nearby field, and tried to kill a bunch of people.

There were warning signs that were missed. He had a plan and made social media posts that indicated he was becoming unstable. It's easy to slip through the cracks these days.
