If you could only subscribe to one, which would it be?

I understand one is weekly and the other closer to monthly, but I'm focusing on quality of content.

I have the economist come in digital format. II like it a lot but I don't always like the slant.

I haven't read much stuff from the atlantic so IDK if I would get that over the economist.

The Atlantic is the magazine for New England and Mid Atlantic yuppies, it publishes a lot of good quality content articles on politics but also a lot of fluff on pop culture. As international as it tries to pretend and the few conservatives it gives a column to, it is a regionally focused magazine and unabashedly liberal.

The Economist is the magazine for the policy wonks and business people of London, DC, and New York. Mostly quick briefs spanning the entire world and then some in depth analysis deep content article on a few subjects each issue. The slant is neo-liberal/conservative global order.

Are you saying "The Economist doesn't have a "slant"?

The Atlantic featured the best write-up of the health 'care' crisis I've ever read. Here's a link. It may be a liberal magazine, but it's definitely not a partisan hack job (re: the linked article). Plus, for a long time they had Christopher Hitchens doing literary reviews which were extremely enjoyable and largely insulated from political commentary.
