7) Hands Up, Don’t Shoot: "Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke criticized liberal hysterics about fake news on Tuesday, pointing out that liberal journalists ought to take a good look in the mirror over their reporting on the 2014 death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri .

The outspoken critic of Black Lives Matter argued on Twitter that ‘Fake news’ was born in August 2014 in Ferguson MO. when MSNBC, the New York Times and the Washington Post ‘all propagated the Hands up, Don’t shoot lie.'

Liberal journalists and activists spread far and wide the myth that Michael Brown had his hands up before being gunned down by police officer Darren Wilson. That claim was the origin of the Black Lives Matter movement and eventually lead to violent rioting in Ferguson

The facts of the case showed the ‘Hands up don’t shoot’ claim to be false and that Wilson was justified in shooting Brown."

That is a great list....and telling.

If I were to make one nit-picky point, I'd say Rolling Stone is not MSM.

6) The Rolling Stone Rape Story: “
This should be number one. Not only were the implications so severe, it was a result of systemic issues from the top to bottom of an investigator journalism piece, which should be held to the highest standard.

Are they referring to when the NYT did a whole story on the Justice Department report that confirmed "hands up, don't shoot" never happened?

LINK

Or are they referring to the time when the Washington Post did a fact check and gave the "hands up, don't shoot" narrative four Pinocchios?

There is a huge difference between what you all consider (rightly or wrongly) to be biased reporting and the garbage that is floating around on Facebook being called 'fake news.'

You're acting like those stories are all the NY Times and WaPo had to say on the story. How much coverage did they give to the lie before they wrote those retractions?
