President Trump’s newly appointed national security adviser has told his staff that Muslims who commit terrorist acts are perverting their religion, rejecting a key ideological view of other senior Trump advisers and signaling a potentially more moderate approach to the Islamic world. The adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster, told the staff of the National Security Council on Thursday, in his first “all hands” staff meeting, that the label “radical Islamic terrorism” was not helpful because terrorists are “un-Islamic,” according to people who were in the meeting.

Not really. I hate when we get into these useless theological discussions. How can a non-Muslim tell us what Islam is or is not? It is what it's adherents say it is and act like it is. Just like Christianity.

Terrorists carry out the will of Mohammed in in its entirety... They are the most "islamic" because they follow the Koran word for word and abide by it. That said, we need to follow the "terrorists are un-islamic" line because we are in an absolute battle for hearts and minds. If we call them "islamic" openly, it gives the terrorists credibility. A bit of a cuck move but I understand it.

It's not as helpful as calling half of your own countrymen things like: racist, flat earther, xenophobe, homophobe, nazi, fascist, misogynist, or islamophobe. All of those things are super helpful, right?

It's not the job of government to weigh in on theological differences and distinctions within a religion.

If Islam was such a peaceful religion, then the 99 percent would put a stop the 1 percent that is carrying out the terrorist acts. The truth is the vast majority of Muslims not only condone those bloodthirsty Satan-worshippers, they support them.

Their holy book calls for the slaughter of infidels. How any reasonable person can call that peaceful is mind-boggling to me.

While I agree with this approach, I always find it funny when hateful Progs all fall in line too, all the while calling their fellow American enemies "racist, sexist, xenophobic, etc" while simultaneously equating anything they hate to whites, Christianity, etc.

But hey, let's not insult Muslims like that!

Another bullshitter. Islam isn't a religion, it's a political ideology hell-bent on world domination. It just masquerades as a religion. It's no more a religion than Hitler's weird arse beliefs was.

As a person who has read the Koran I can attest that you are correct. However, some of the more blatant calls for murder have been edited out in newer versions so as not to tip off the infidels.

Some of my closest friends in the world are Arab Muslims (Jordanian). These guys were born and raised in the U.S., and they are very Americanized. They even have the North La, redneck accent.

With that said, these dudes absolutely HATE a Jew, and they aren't the biggest fans of "the West." Their love for this country is based on the benefits that they, and their families, derive from this country. It's kind of crazy that these Arab "country boys", who have grown up very American, still have a simmering hate for the US.

Furthermore, they all talk about abusing our systems before they eventually go "home." It blows my mind to hear my best friends talking about moving to a place they've never known, and, before leaving, planning to abuse this system as much as possible.

They seriously focus on their credit score, so they can take out huge loans before they move to the Middle East to raise a family. Their dads did it, and my "American" friends plan to do the same one day.

They don't respect our country. They don't care about the long-term stability of this country. These citizens only love this country bc of the benefits they get.

And these guys are born and raised in the south. They talk like me, act like me, eat the things I eat, drink the drinks that I drink, have the same interests that I have, etc; yet, they will admit that they dont give a frick about the only country that they know.

NATURE IS SCARY.

I mean if acting like Muhammed did is unislamic I'm not really sure what the whole thing is about. Christianity is at its best when Christians act like Jesus, Islam is at its worst when they act like Muhammed

Has anyone on here read ALL the Quran? Has anyone serious research on the so-called Mohammed? That would be step one in my opinion...

McMaster is a retard. Being a terrorist/fundamentalist is following Islam correctly. The Qu'ran and Hadith tell you to kill those opposed to Islam, heavily tax those who submit, and follow Muhammad's footsteps as a rapist and vile man.
