He is correct. It's really sad because ideologically I am an almost complete alignment with the freedom caucus. But Jesus fricking Christ they're shity at politics

Why didn't he take the lead instead of quitting?

Hopefully they'll wake up and realize that we won't get any promises delivered if they act like they did over the AHCA.

They didn't act in good faith. They intentionally tried to prevent reform. They would make demands at the 11th hour, fully knowing that it would frick up the process. Those dudes are trash and not real conservatives.

So he quit, after declared he was voting No?

Yeah, that makes me believe he stands by his convictions? Now if he committed to Yes, then quit? Good for him

I wouldn't say that. They're real conservatives in fact they're very conservative. But for Christ's sake this shite didn't sneak up on anybody. Every last thing that needed to be hammered out on how they would execute repeal reform or what the frick ever needed to be hammered out way back when they made it part of the platform.

This whole it's got to be a bill exactly like what the most conservative person in the Congress would write is retarded. That's not the kind of government we have.

Any half-decent conservative knows that our constitution is literally written to set up a government where doing what the freedom caucus wanted is nearly impossible

On what fricking planet did they think their little group I was going to get all they wanted? Ever!

You missed such a golden opportunity with your thread title.

One example:

Poe to Freedom Caucus: Nevermore.

this is half the problem. You people live in a fricking bubble just like the hard left

Yeah I want to government that looks like it was cut right out of Rand Paul's brain. But you can't be fricking stupid. You didn't win that election. In fact that election almost never happens.

This is the United States of America. A place with widely disparate voting interests. A place that even the founders knew would have competing interests.

The very design of the government dating all the way back to its Inception is to hinder shite like what the freedom caucus did

Since they obstruct as much as Democrats, I think he made a good decision.

The have successfully killed President Trump's legislative agenda. It will now be far more difficult to pass anything because of these members of Congrss. The likelihood of Tax reform or building a wall is now seriously in jeopardy.
