He wasn't forced to do anything. He chose to move it.

Floyd is a giant vagina and is the only reason that the fight won't happen. He wants to avoid Manny so he can retire with his undefeated record. Like I said, huge vagina.

Nailed it, Scruff. Floyd is the modern version of Pernell Whitaker; a legend in HIS OWN mind, but a wuss for those of us who have a brain.

There are a lot of good fights that COULD have happened, if Mayweather hadn't dodged them. The best fighters that have ever stepped in the ring...WANTED to fight the best of their peers. Did Mayweather?

Mayweather is the Obama of boxing. Great on talk that elevates himself, and faux-action...but like tits on a boar hog in a real scenario. Screw both.

Why should't china have a lower income tax rate than the US, a large number of Chinese citizens do not have running water or electricity in their "homes"
Tax money in the United States does't pay for electricity. We have private companies that provide electricity. And as for running water, our politicians do not spend our taxes on running water. If they did we wouldn't have the huge deferred maintenance problems that are widespread in the U.S. How many locales are holding votes to authorize bonds for sewer and water system improvements?

The reason our tax rates are what they are is to fund programs that redistribute wealth.

Floyd is still the best fighter in the world. Manny was never close. I wish they had fought too though so that Floyd would have shut everyone up after he destroyed Manny. Manny wouldn't even lay a glove on Floyd.

Floyd is a huge pussy. He is a counter-punching, cherry-picking, big-fight-dodging coward. At his apex, Manny Pacquiao would have knocked that little bitch out in 5 rounds. The only reason they didn't fight is because Floyd turned it down - repeatedly - because he knew he'd lose. And your[sic] an idiot.

re: Tax Rate forces Pacquiao to move fight

I love boxing. A few years ago, I even worked out at a gym for several months with some young up-and-comers. I actually got to spar with one who later was a gold gloves winner or something similar.....He was told to take it easy on the old man.

Compubox totals:

a want 100 jabs thrown 1 landed
real boxer 6 jabs thrown 6 landed

Oh yeah, and I hate Floyd Mayweather.

"Or he could fight Mayweather and make eighty-hundred-kagillion dollars. I don't care where they fight."

I still wish they would do it, but they have waited so long now that it almost doesn't matter.

Me too, but it won't be the fight it could have been. It would have been the biggest fight since Tyson/Holyfield.

I posted this in the mayweather v guerrero fight thread, but I sat next to someone who claimed to be "in the know" at the fight this past weekend and he said it was most likely still going to happen and it would take place in Macau.

If Pacquiao were to earn a hypothetical $20 million for this upcoming fight in Macau, his after tax earnings would be $17.6 million – as opposed to the $12.1 million he would earn for the same proposed scenario in the U.S.

I minored in math, so I should be able to get this.

17.6 - 12.1 mil = 5.5 mil that the greedy Pacquiao is stealing from those that need food stamps in the U.S. Isn't 12.1 mil enough for this guy? What's he need all that money for? fricker is trying to get out of his fair share.

Forward!

You're right. Mayweather would feign injury before he could get KOd.

Floyd Mayweather is the real life equivalent of Tommy "Machine" Gunn.

Yes, that was a Rocky 5 reference, the ultimate of boxing insults.

Oh yeah, I forgot, the only thing that tax dollars pay for are Cadillacs for welfare queens. So...it is your premise that federal money is not used for water treatment plants, distribution systems etc. nor is it used for electrical distribution systems and production? Really? Who foots the bill for restoring power lines after a storm? Have you ever heard of TVA, BPA, or the REA? What about the Corps of Engineers? These are all straight up federal agencies involved in the production and distribution of power and water which are funded with federal tax dollars. Not to mention the amount of federal tax dollars that are spent every year in matching funds for development and maintenance of utility systems all over the United States. And speaking of private electrical companies.....how do they manage to stay in business in the United States???? They have government protection from competition that is funded by tax dollars AND, at the end of the day, no one in the United States would be doing any business at all if it weren't for the US Military keeping the wolves at bay....but of course the only thing tax dollars are used for is to provide parasites with some pocket change and everything else in the US is accomplished by rugged individuals without any input at all from others.....surely there is no way that anyone can honestly think this is true, is there?

Damn, we have something in common. I've been boxing since I was 8. I'm getting a little too old for it now but I still fight a couple of times a year in local shows. And as much as I hate FMM, he would destroy Pacman now. 4-5 years ago however.... Damn, what a matchup that could have been.

I'd rather they give me my tax dollars back and let there be competition. Do you think I'd pay more or less for electricity then?
