If it's in the school's dress code guidelines...ok. However, I highly doubt it. WTF is wrong with our country?

ETA: Apparently, it was 2 students.

WTF part 2:

Why is no one doing anything about it? Peacefully, of course.

Think of the outrage if an Obama tee shirt had been edited out of the yearbook.

So the super said someone did some photoshopping. She said the student didn't do anything wrong. This is how you get more government in our lives when you eventually have to make a law to outlaw photoshopping in order to maintain our freedom of speech rights granted to us.

Congrats to the idiots that force us to have more government intervention. You really just need to slink away somewhere never to be seen or heard of again.

Making the law is how you get moar government... as it sits now, no government was involved, thus no violation of free speech.

Ridiculous. I'd like to know if there were any Obama shirts in yearbooks. As long as it isn't vulgar these kids should have the right to express themselves.

Are you under the impression that public schools are no longer the government?

The screams of racism would be everywhere if it were a Obama shirt that got photoshopped. I'm telling you these fricking liberals are really making me think like a person I do not want to be.

Damn man, that's my point. That's what we don't need in our lives but because of assholes out there enforcing their own definition of "freedom of speech" we have to make another law to make it against the law to photoshop someone who espouses their freedom of speech rights by limiting someone else's freedom of speech.

Damn, I'm confused by my own post. However, that's the Dems way of doing things - confusion.

Aunt teaches down in New Orleans at an inner city school. She started towards the end of odumbass' "presidency." She was telling us that they had obama posters everywhere and kids had to do some salute shite whenever they walked past it. It's a brain disease...

Oh it's a different world in the inner city schools. I can remember about twenty years ago doing some work at Carver High in the east and there was a poster of a KKK guy smiling and laughing about black on black killling. It said something to the effect of "stop doing them favors by killing each other".

Did you actually read the article? This wasn't censorship condoned by the school.

Also, this kid's parents are tools:

quote:

In an interview, Joseph Berardo Jr. — Grant's father — called for the school to recall the yearbooks and reissue new ones with the unaltered photo. He said he would consider legal action if that doesn’t happen.

frick their sue-happy asses.

I actually like that poster. That message needs to be spoken more often today. Would help some folks wake up and see that the ones marching against the police are only subjugating them.

As to Obama posters: I saw them everywhere in every school I toured in the Birmingham City Schools while working there. All celebrations about Obama while half the GRADUATING seniors can't read. Pathetic.
