In the world of peer review, how can someone like that "redeem themselves" if their studies are ignored due to that previous separation? Even in this thread, people are outright saying that a study is garbage because of its authors. That isn't scientific. If a study doesn't stand under its own weight, then "science" is doing its thing (or being used correctly, rather). Discarding a study because of who wrote it is not scientific, though, and that's my point.

This story, while hilarious, does little to address the topic. CSS is a pay-for-pub open access journal with a low impact factor. The article about penises and climate change, while awesome, is borderline gibberish and fails own its own merits. No one is out there citing that article as evidence of anything, in contrast to the biased articles cited in the Family Research article.
