We're starting a conversation man. I don't know what it is. Why this isn't it, right now. Why we just went 8 years with a black POTUS without it. Why we went through a solid year or 2 of race riots without it. But we're gonna start that fricking conversation

I started a similiar thread days ago. They have boxed themselves in a corner.
All this supposed "racial injustice" they are protesting is not going away any time soon and since most of it is completely imagined it will never go away.
So what are they going to do, kneel for the anthem indefinitely? 5 years? 10 years? 20 years? Just forever?
If they stop they look they are weak willed cowards that are caving in to public pressure and if they continue they are just digging the hole deeper.
The NFL probably committed one of the worst business PR blunders in history this past weekend.

The NFL will have meeting with Players Union and come to agreement. Agreement will consist of major contributions to inner city youth groups and a shite ton of PR commercials which will lead players and teams to put their money where their mouth is which is what should have happened in the first place.
NFL will have to stand by players to save face.

I've said that repeatedly now. The NFL needs this issue to go away and go away fast. They have to come up with a plan that allows them to declare "victory" somehow, while still shutting the protests during the anthem down.
