So what are the chances the healthcare bill gets passed this week?

I think September 28 is the unofficial deadline due to using reconciliation and the Jewish holiday starting so some folks will be getting out of town?

Also saw where Lyin Ted just said he's against it.

So what are the chances it at least makes it out of the Senate?

Said he's working with sponsors to make tweaks to get him to a yes, but isn't there yet.

I don't trust Cruz or Paul to remain no votes.

I am also not sure R's really want this bill to pass.

Cruz's opposition seemed a bit conditional. He said the "bill doesn't have my vote 'right now'." It's still pretty clearly doomed as things stand. Only interesting question left is if McConnell brings it to the floor, knowing it's going to fail, to allow members to be able to stand on their individual records and say "hey, I upheld my end of the promise." Politically I think he has to give it a go. Even a near-certain failure can't possibly hit with same thud as July's vote.

Zero chance. Our RINO pals John McCain and Susan Collins have already thrown in their lot with the leeches (excuse me Democrats). We're headed for single payer and a Cuban style healthcare system. You know wait 2 months to see a doctor for an abscess on your tonsil. That kind of healthcare.
