Leftists assaulting people and destroying the property of others because of hurt feelings is nothing new.

Leftists are literally willing to kill people for having different ideas. This really isn't a surprise. They're Marxists at their core.

Communism is evil. Leftists can no longer be dismissed as "naive" or "stupid bleeding hearts". They are the mortal enemies of freedom and Western Civilization.

This needs to be said more and more and more. Socialism and cultural Marxism are completely incompatible with the traditional western society. It's already infected Europe and should not be allowed to gain any more traction here. These people are violent and evil and should have no place in the American society.

What is the difference between cultural Marxism and plain old communism, or is there no difference?

One thinks cultural issues are the driving reason for "inequality" as opposed to garden variety communism which is more focused on economy/materialism as the main source of inequality.

Communism is mainly thought of as an economic ideology if I understand correctly. Here's an excerpt from a DailyCaller article:

quote:

Cultural Marxism is the Marxist dialectic fused with Freudian theory and applied to identity and culture. Like all forms of Marxism, it is based upon categorizing people into abstract groups and then creating a narrative of historical oppression between them. The strategy of Marxists is always to cultivate a victimized group and then convince its members that solidarity is required against the oppressors. This creates resentment and hatred and is how Marxist ideologies fulfill their revolutionary objectives.

Gotcha. Well I could at least understand the economic theory; it doesn't sound as terrible in theory as it was in practice. I don't get the cultural argument though.

Now I never really had much value for most of Freud and his theories, given their lack of support, but I'm struggling to see the connection, besides the lack of scientific validity.

I believe they make the connection to Freud's theories on religion.

I think we should claim that the DNC has lost its legitimacy as one of our two major political parties for being overrun by enemies of our nation.

I'm coming to this conclusion. We need a new party. The Dems are so out of touch with mainstream America that it's scary.

That said, we need a second mainstream party, to keep the system balanced.

Too bad they don't teach this in our schools.
