So if your company were going to drop $500K for a guest speaker

Realistically, no one is worth that kind of money, but would you get more benefit from one of the Clintons or Nick Saban talking about "The Process"?
Easy answer for me and just reinforces that the Clinton fees were paid for favors.

Unless it's a trade show or convention with hundreds to thousands of attendees there is no motivational speaker worth that much, especially someone that's as bad of a speaker as Crooked Hillary

They would have to pay me dearly to attend any of her speaking engagements.

No one is worthy of a half million dollars just to deliver a 40 minute speech.
You only pay that kind of money to an individual when you want to disguise your true intentions for funneling them that kind of cash.

Even people you have never heard of costs thousands on the speakers bureau. I was shocked at what my company paid for the third string person to discuss "generations in the workplace."
We could have had everybody read a short article in Forbes or some other publication and spent the money on something else.

I'd probably be annoyed with any company I worked for paying that much for a speaker instead of investing the money back into the company or its employees. I definitely would tune out anyone would tried to lecture me about saving the company money by helping cut out waste.

Maybe someone would see the benefit of having a former president speak, but a former senator or SOS? None of these companies that pay these type of fees to people with political connections are serious about receiving business insight or motivational material. If so, you'd see Saban on the speaking circuit at least one month a year making more than his coaching salary.

Jill Stein should be worth about $500 plus a free lunch, but I'd pay her well to fund raise for me.

Les Miles giving a speech on clock management would be more valuable than anything a Clinton could say.

That would be entertaining.

I'll offer complementary hand jobs to anyone in attendance at a speaking engagement paying me $500K
Hell I'll do it for $50K
Hell I'll do it for $50K

Nick Saban is an amazing person whose body of work is unparrelled, the bastard...but outside of a couple of 20 million people in the United States he is a nobody...the Clinton's, on the other hand, are among the most recognizable names man has ever known...that is a bad analogy my friend....

If people are willing to pay for it that person is worth it....NFL players make that kind of money for the same amount of work....

She'd actually make more money for an appearance if she were paid to sit in a dunking booth for the same amount of time her speech takes.

This is true....loads of folks make a very comfortable living speaking....it is very lucrative if you have the knack for it....and you don't have any track record of ever having accomplished anything....merely talking is sufficient if it is interesting....

Take HRC for example. She wasn't paid for her business insight. She was paid to gain favor and political points. It is basically lobbying.
You could argue that I have no evidence of that, but let's be realistic. The simplist answer is usually the correct one.

For a young man you seemed to have your intellectual shite together.

Nobody at Goldman Sachs gives a shite what Hillary has to say about anything unless she's telling them how she's going to help them make money.
