What are they going to do to change the momentum?
I know they're starting to blame voter suppression in some quarters. But they have no connection with the public it seems.

They've have to ratchet the crazy down a notch or two but I don't think they can at this point its just who they are.

It amazes me they're 0 for 5 but still want to blame Trump on everything yet further alienate the voters especially independents

I think somebody like Biden is going to try to fill the void and it will go awkwardly

Their core supporters are out there going "we won't stand for hate anymore!" and the average Republican who may have considered voting for Ossoff goes "what? are they talking about me? who do I hate?"
What's even more amazing is they won't leave this loss going "maybe I was too emotional, too judgmental, made errors in thinking." They'll leave going "we're doomed, the low information bigots won again!"

If the Democratic party wants to be in play for 2020 ,because 2018 is a lost cause, they need too crush the crazy progressive element out of their party. They have gone so far out into left field that it does not appeal to mainly white voters in between the Northeast and Left Coast. The Democrat Party over the last few years has taken aggressive stances to move us completely towards a socialist government which resognates with the young millenials and losers in society ,but thats it. They need to move more toward the center or they will cease to have a party.

Nope. They will double down on stupidity. If the slaughter of 2010 and 2014 didn't teach them anything, and the complete asswhipping of the presidential elections, didn't prove anything to them, a couple small congressional races where they unloaded both barrels and still got beat down won't change anything.

I'm thinking they've got to deliberately swing to the middle and cut out the fringe. The fringe is not their base, yet it seems to me they're treating it as the base. Most normal people don't riot or go on stage talking about blowing things up. But that party seems to affiliate with that thinking. I also think they need to quit using CNN as their propaganda wing and have their leaders call out those organizations that put out blatantly inaccurate information.
