While the lawsuit (filed back in May) can continue, the other company has lost on a few points.
In any case the company will probably get bought by someone else or die on its own as the primary owner seems to be more interested in ho's and vacations.

Isn't Snopes just a husband and ex-wife who run a website out of their basement?
They don't actually have any special qualifications or expertise in determining fact vs fiction, they just spin the news to fit an agenda. And people take their word as gospel for some reason.

They were always reasonable and did research, although the wife seemed to put in more work.
It's like this board when CptBengal posts the latest nonsense from God knows what site and he gets debunked with real news. We could probably start a Tiger Snopes team, but 90% of this board couldn't be trusted.

I'm surprised they haven't been bought out already. They do have name recognition but when they transitioned from Bigfoot/UFOs/urban legend stuff to politics it just seems like something beyond the scope of a mom & pop opperation.

Maybe you can tell me what "charges" I should be defending against? Besides your baseless claim of bias or being paid by Soros. Just added some additional facts. Obviously some people would love to see them destroyed so that their fact checking goes away, but they have always had a great reputation.
Since the divorce was very recent, I guess we will see if things change.
