Same thing, right?

Smoking in public kills innocent people thru second and third hand exposure.

Drunk drivers kill innocent non-drunk people as well.

Whose rights are more important: 1) The smoker's right to expose non-smokers to potentially deadly carcinogens, or 2) the non-smoker's right to breathe public air that is free of tobacco smoke?

You can chose not to go to to bars or restaurants that allow smoking. Why can't people understand that? Why do we need the gooberment to tell a private business owner what he can or cannot do in his business?

If the smokers are outdoors, I don't really see how it affects people around them.

Unless someone is consistently within 2 feet of the smoker which is a pretty unusual circumstance.

Air inside of a private business is not public air. Yes the public can go in but the air is for the buildings owner.

And again if you don't want to breath in smoky air don't go to a place that allows smoking. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE!!!

And so do smokers.

No one is stopping you from living. If you don't like smokey environments don't go into them. What part of thy do you not understand?

Of course not. Smokers are condemning themselves to death with their habit.
