I just finished a response on a thread but I think this link - which cannot be denied by even the most liberal (since it is actual hearings documented before the housing crisis) is worth a thread all it's own.

And the useless establishment republican fricks did nothing about it either, probably because they were afraid of being called mean and racist.

Notice at the end even Bill Clinton put the blame on democrats. Yet somehow, today, Bush is responsible as are all republicans. The media did a great job on this one. Otherwise there would be no confusion. This is liberal FAKE NEWS for you. Trying to get liberals out of a jam THEY CREATED. But today every democrat I know that has not been exposed to the truth still claim Bush and republicans gave us the housing crisis. You just can't make this shite up.

Uh she didn't have to. Anyone who debated her and her bunch on the facts would automatically be considered a "racist" for worrying about the millions who could never pay back those loans. I don't think it mattered to her what color they were, they were dem people in charge and they didn't care about the impacts on this country. But they went over the mountains to give loans to low income people.

Video is beating up on democrats for beating up on regulators. Is the right now firmly on board with the idea that it was a lack of regulation, brought on by bankers lobbying and begging to be allowed to gamble, that caused the housing crisis.....because if y'all have finally arrived at the truth and are no longer blaming it on Washington over reach you all need a hearty atta boy!!!

SO are we all in agreement now that the housing crisis was created by a lack of regulation and not the federal government telling the poor, pitiful put upon banking industry that they had to loan money to people who couldn't pay it back?

Get a clue , yeah the banks never wanted shite to do with it so yes, they sold off those things. It's like the protests of old in front of banks like liberals always do claiming "discrimination" if they don't do what we ask. You ignored how this came about didn't you.

I'm not inlove with banks anymore than you are, but what you fail to see is liberals hold hostage any company that does not do what they want. Many companies are in fear of these tactics.

Like right now, liberals are all over the internet telling people not to buy Trumps daughters merchandise or stay in a Trump Hotel lol.

The liberal left is well organized by funding from outside sources it's true. And no doubt they are whiners and crybabies who want their way when they lose.

But just like those idiots tried to put on Chic-fil-A , it had opposite effect.

People in the true mainstream have learned how to combat this. We just buy whatever you are boycotting.

We are getting organized to meet that garbage. The liberals have become their own worse enemies and refuse to see things for what they are.

Remember when Hillary had 800 people packed like sardines in states she was not popular in? And the media acted like she was going to destroy Trump state-by-state? Meanwhile Trump was filling up stadiums? That's truth, despite the media trying to influence an election.

I am one of those people called during polls and lied by saying we were on board with Hillary lol.

I used to say that the advent of the internet and quick access to historical data would undeniably refute the liberal's craziness to the point that they'd have to straighten up and fly right. It would be their undoing. But even when faced with instant replay of their stupidity, they still somehow manage to storm off into the next room and start their shite all over again. Just remarkable how they and their minions make it from one day to the next.

It is truly amazing when posters say that it has to be true because it's on video and then post what ends up being a bunch of video edited excerps.

And just to set the record straight, the reason Fanny and Freddie failed is because Wall Street sold them billions of dollars of securitized mortgages that had fraudulently been rated AAA by buying off S&P and the rest of the rating agencies.

I distinctly remember when I bought my current house in 2004...when researching mortgage companies,I was blown away that some companies didn't require proof of income, a social security no. and no money down.

Rigggghhhttttttt...poor pitiful put upon bankers are at the mercy of the poor and the minority.

Seriously, how does a person arrive at a place in their lives where bankers are arse raped by poor people and yet the evidence to the contrary is OVERWHELMING.....

No one forced a bank to do anything....many did not participate and are still in business doing what they did....the ones who did participate BEGGED to be allowed to do so....they lobbied for deregulation and they got it....

Didn't read the link, but if it concerns the housing crisis, it was obvious to any thinking person that the crisis was a natural fallout of the DEM agenda. Just like the health care crisis is a natuaraly fallout of DEM policy.

In fact, I cannot think of a single ill in problem we have in America today that is not a direct - predictable - result of DEMOCRAT policy.

Since the patriotic democrats left the DEM party back in the 70s, it has morphed into a pernicious element seeking to fundamentally change America into something alien to out very existence. Their goal is to establish an autocracy with their elite at the helm where no dissent is permitted.

I started a thread here several years ago asking the board to list every known social and legislative "issue" that has come up and tie it to the party that created it.

Overwhelmingly, the Democrat party was responsible.

They create the problems, make themselves the supposed "solution", then blame the negative results on the enemy.

It works beautifully due to useful idiots and the MSM.

There's no "probably" about it.
