You know what would be a boss move? If Trump flew to Flint and announced that the $221 million that Obama intended for Palestinians would go to fixing the water system. Heads would explode.

How about we reroute money from the pointless wall we're building rather than take away funding for arguably the best public education institution in the country?

There is nothing inherently special about UCB. The things that make it special are mobile: students, professors and money. You could pick a random school anywhere in the country and bestow billions of federal grant money and the same research could take place there. Professors follow the money. Students follow the professors.
