The fact is that refugee status is not based on any qualifications and the vast majority of refugees are dysfunctionals with little to no ability to assimilate.

You seem to be confusing the legal immigration policies which promote skills and needs of the US with asylum seekers.

Finally, draining a war torn area of its best citizens is stupid public policy if we expect these areas to ever eventually become stable.
