You are wrong about this not being a potential terror attack.
To be terrorism it is just has to be "a major threat to society".

Terrorism is the use of terror to further a political, religious or other belief system.
If this person's motives were financial, then this fits no definition of terror that I've ever seen.
Crime and mayhem is not terrorism. If someone gets fired and shoots everyone in their office, that is not terrorism.
ETA: You aren't winning any points for Mizzou J-School. And I doubt Missouri is top-ranked in anything right now.

It's really amazing to me how the Shaun King's of the world can turn every single instance of everything into some form of racial something. 
I can't imagine waking up and thinking about race from the beginning to end of my day, everyday. But then again, this has become a job for Shaun. It's his livelihood now. This dude is basically exactly as fricked up in the head as the most rabid Klansman. The difference is that no one takes Klansmen's opinions seriously today but unfortunately lots of people appear to take Shaun King's dumbass opinions seriously. So because it affords him fame, monetary compensation, and a certain status amongst his pitiful followers, he will persist and so will others who attempt to copy his path for their own ends.
