Good. No reason to give the Dems an out on this awful legislation. It will fail. No point letting Teumpntake the blame. Though the sooner it fails, the better probably.

Spot on. Making the numbers add up on the health care scenario in the current economy is a bridge too far. I think that Trump won't mind the Congress essentially getting it off the table for the next couple of years...while He does work in the trenches. Tax cuts will ramp up the economy and ensure Republican hegemony and they can handle that hot potato down the road. What's another couple hundred billion anyway.

It still needs to get on the floor of the senate for debate and a vote for a motion to proceed. This won't be a good look for McConnell and these insurance company lackeys on the senate floor. Rand, Lion Ted, Lee and many other senators are going to give this bipartisan effort to fund this corporate welfare HELL, as they should.
If it passes the senate then it still needs to pass the house.
We are still a long way away.
