Schumer vows 'tough vetting' for Sessions

ncoming Senate Democratic Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) is promising a "tough vetting" of Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), President-elect Donald Trump's pick to be attorney general.
Schumer, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, declined in an interview on NBC's "Meet the Press" to offer any "quick judgements" on Trump's nominees.
"It's premature to make any decisions but, except to say a very thorough and tough vetting for a Senate colleague, as well as for anybody else," he said.

Trump's "grab them in the p*%^*" PR nightmare was played ten thousand times, and guess what. The Left has 'cried wolf' to the end that there is nothing they can say that will affect what those who support Trump's agenda. Thanks to Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer the path is wide open to stack the Supreme Court and ram through Law that will be hard to overcome unless the Dems can rule both Houses in the future. And that is highly unlikely. And even if they do, the Right can go rogue, just like the Left is gearing up to do in the next year.

Not untrue. Trump and Schumer are 'players'; they'll establish their opening bets, and then play from there. Schumer knows that Trump has the upper hand; and it will be interesting to see where Schumer goes if Obama remains politically active in a big way. Schumer knows that the election of Trump is a result of Obama's radical action as POTUS. I doubt he'll continue to follow Obama over the cliff.
