I voted for Cruz in 2012. I regret that vote. Dude was responsible for the shut down in 2013 and everyone just forgot about it. Listening to him speak is pretty horrible. He talks like he is all about individual liberty, but I feel like it's a charade. Rand Paul is a much better choice for any position than Ted Cruz.

We get it. You want to smoke pot and prefer religion to be behind closed doors.

Gorsuch is a justifiable guarantee at this point. Schumer forcing the Nuke Option over Gorsuch is tactically stupid. IF RGB keels over, going nuclear on Gorsuch would guarantee an ultracon replacing RBG.
Exactly. Trump will just figure, wtf, why even try to appease them? He'll nominate someone like Pryor next time.

The very point Dianne Feinstein unsuccessfully attempted to make during the hearings. Gorsuch had her back peddling and seeking cover when he was done rebuffing her allegations.

Democratic politicans like schumer are pathetic and care more for party than country.

The Dems will be like the MSM; they cried wolf so much, that when the real wolf arrives...they have zero cred. No body but the idiots listen. This will help Trump push through the SC Seat that ends the Judicial Lib hegemony.

YOU DO realize that it has been a regular practice to delay SCOTUS appointments in final year of a President's term for either party???

DEMS would have done the same, if roles reversed. Politicos are hypocritical.

The same fricking assholes whining now are on record warning Bush to not nominate anybody within 18 months of the end of his term. the same fricking assholes

Not voting on Garland was a response to what they stated they would have done if someone had died in 2007-08.

It's like dems don't think there are videos and electronic records of what they said in the past. They grew so lazy when their asses were covered by the 3 networks that they don't know how to act when they cannot hide their story.

I think this a bad move by the dems. Gorsuch is conservative but seems easily qualified. I also think repubs should have confirmed Garland.

The democrats have painted themselves into a corner. If they filibuster Gorsuch, republicans will use the nuclear option and Gorsuch is appointed to the court. However, it's that next SCOTUS seat that have the democrats scared. Either way, there is not much wiggle room for them unless they negotiate to approve Gorsuch if republicans vow not to use nuclear option on the next SCOTUS which I hope republicans reject.
Republican hold all of the Trump cards on this one.

Yep. Schumer is likely a pedophile like his protege Weiner. He heard gorsuch say clearly and multiple times "No man is above the law. No man is above the law."

When Cruz loses his seat next year, he will fade into obscurity. Does anyone actually want him to be in our government anymore? He is truly the worst.

I don't like Cruz either, but man, you are consistently the most naive poster on here. It's like you are 12 or something and don't know how the world works. Last week you were having a meltdown because you think unimproved south Texas scrub brush land nowhere near even a small town is worth more than $2,900 an acre. This week you're claiming Ted Cruz will lose reelection. You're totally uninformed on both counts.

There will be 40 Democrats willing to filibuster Gorsuch? Is Schumer confident of that?

Are 40 required? I wasn't aware of that.
