for tax evasion (Manafort) and illegal dealings with Turkey (Flynn)

is that worth a negative number?

*ETA: clarified the title

Wouldn't be surprised if either or both of them went down for something unrelated to 'muh russians', but it's also possible that neither of them get booked. If he doesn't find any goods on anyone within Trump's circle (at any time during his campaign/presidency) then it will look like they got to him. He might take down one of them just for the optics and then move on to Hillary and her scum.

i think Manafort is in some serious trouble. i'm not saying he'll be convicted, but they're likely going to prosecute him. i seriously doubt he'll plea just b/c he's always walked so close to the line i can't imagine his ego would let him believe he crossed it

If Mueller does his job without bias it will all lead back to the Dims and more specifically the Clinton Crime Foundation, book it!!

Here's the ultimate deal: libs think they'll (Manafort and Flynn) will roll on Trump (for something he didn't do), but why would they when he can just pardon them?!?!

I'm pretty sure if he pardons them it means they can't take the fifth

if this investigation doesn't net Trump, be prepared to hear "Constitutional Crisis!" about 1,000 times per hour

i'd assume they'd take the 5th, get convicted, then get pardoned

*ETA: i don't think you waive 5A just b/c a President pardons you

As a budding Trump enthusiast you may want to budget a bit of concern for his dealings with the Russians.

9/10 on both of them

sorry but those guys are in trouble...the Fbi doesnt server a no knock warrant without reason to suspect an attempt to foil the gathering of information. Manafort is in big trouble.

Flynn, even Yates said there was criminality there, Flynn is in trouble as well.

that story seems dead as shite at this point

if i remember, tomorrow i'll make a thread about Trump and Meuller finding illegal Russian dealings prior to running for President (aka, illegal deals that have nothing to do with collusion or the 2016 campaign, so not the stuff the DEMS and their coordinated media cohorts have been pushing)

If all they get out of this absurd Russian investigation is those two on completely unrelated crimes, then my god, what a colossal waste of time and tax payer money.

it was in a recent time article

basically a law prof said that since they wouldn't be under threat (b/c they were pardoned), they couldn't invoke the 5th

that ignores the text of the Amendment (it's written in terms of testifying against yourself and not a finding of guilt) as well as the reality of a prosecutorial position (just think about thinks like the dual sovereign theory as well as other potential crimes outside the scope of that single prosecution/pardon the testimony may lead to)

The text is that a defendant
quote:

shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself

the thread is that they're the only ones his investigation reveals did anything wrong. you think that's a 9/10?

7 if only them. 9 if we include the possibility that there are lesser or unknown associates of those two, of little importance and connection to Trump, who are involved.

The goal of the investigation to liberals and Never Trumpers has always been to impeach Trump or at least make him politically dead and if Mueller's investigation can't accomplish that, no one is going to give a frick what happens to manafort and flynn or even pay any attention to it.
