18 people arrested last night for blocking the I-94 and only Graffiti for damages. Now that they have time to probably bus in the professionals. I wondering how bad it will get tonight. Any guess on the number of arrested and potential damages coming tonight?

Im guessing 30 people arrested, and couple of store winds knocked out and a couple cars vandalized would be my guess.

Solidarity March Against Police Violence and White Silence,
They should film these and put them on national television completely uncensored IMO. People should have their entire families watch. I would think they would love having a bigger stage to spread their message.

I still honestly don't know what they're protesting.

He was brought to trial.

Are they protesting a jury verdict?

Typically, if you're protesting, there's something you'd like to change.

So, if ONLY the people in the crowd had a say, what would they have done differently in this case?

I watched someone on periscope last night that was streaming it once they got onto the interstate. I was hoping the police would arrest them all. They were all this is a peaceful demonstration. We have the right to peacefully assemble. You do have that right, but you don't have the right to be blocking cars on the interstate people.

North Carolina just approved legislation that shields drivers from civil liability if they collide with protesters.
I believe North Dakota has a similar law in place.
From what I've read, other states are in the process of writing similar laws.
In the meantime, thankfully it looks like most LEOs recognize who's at fault in these situations.

Yup.

Seems to me that if I just let off the gas and let the auto tranny move the car, if you don't get out of the way, that's your problem.

ANYONE can get out of the way of a car going 3 mph.

There should be a charity started to pay for any legal expenses or car maintenance that is required after hitting a rioter who is attempting to block traffic and threaten motorists.

Was there a demographic of the jury? They could be protesting something like that?

Shut up dude I know why they are but this board is like a skiddish dog you can't just reach out and help it they'll insult and run. You have to beat around a little and start small like, talk about the jury, or remind them that this looked worse than trayvon but that they WERE right about Trayvon. So every point you make just give them a little treat to keep them from panicking and melting.

I love shitheads who talk like they are so much smarter than the board, for no apparent reason.

No. I don't.

Protests typically want something changed.

So. I ask again. If these protester were the ONLY decision makers, how would they have handled this case differently?
