A new report raises questions media and Democrats would rather ignore

This is the report by The Nation Salon is referring to: I started a thread on it last week.

Is this how you let the left wing down easily from confirmation bias fueled by their leaders?

Yes, it will be a slow burn. No one will outright admit it. But at some point, everyone will privately agree and then people will be saying "I never thought that."

There is no evidence for any of these theories — and neither VIPS nor Lawrence in his article attempt to link Rich’s murder to the hack/leak of information from the DNC. (Washington police have said since the night of Rich’s death that he was the victim of an armed robbery attempt that went wrong.) Nonetheless, the emergence of this information may lend credence to those theories for those who want to believe them.

aka, WE HAVE PROOF.

Conveniently coincides with idiot Nazi LARPers showing their arse in a way that hurts Trump.

Funny that Spencer would embrace this stupid shite now after being careful to avoid it for so long.

Mighty (funny)

Nope.

Well maybe it raises questions for you if you know very little about the hacking.

until we get an independent analysis of that server, statements like that are pretty ironic

Decatur, why do you think Salon would publish this? Seems like a silly thing to report on

It is very silly. Where are their editors?

Could this be some vague red meat for Bernie bros? At least on Internet forums, they aren't as intrigued by Russia hacking as your average Dem, and instead blame Dem party/Hillary for all the woes

Not everyone. Maxine Waters types will go to their graves saying," Muh Russians!"

This might be the biggest red herring of the lot.

Multiple firms have checked Crowdstrike's work while other firms have gone beyond leveraging other data.

Some people just want to muddy the water on attribution for some reason.

uh, not allowing actual, first hand, and independent analysis of the server is not "some reason"

that's a big deal

It is wholly unnecessary. You can doubt their findings all you want. The people who do this for a living and who would have a lot to gain from discrediting a competitor all agree on the findings.

There is much more information about all of this in the public domain than many posters here would lead you to believe. You always hear about Muh Crowdstrike around here but their analysis (at least the portion made public) is very limited.

It's public knowledge which spoof sites the hackers created, partial targeting lists, command and control architecture used, etc.

Anyone claiming the DNC was not hacked should be laughed out of the room.
