A Russian warship entered the eastern Mediterranean Friday and was heading toward the area where two U.S. Navy destroyers launched missile strikes into Syria, Fox News has learned.

The Russian frigate, Admiral Grigorovich RFS-494, crossed through the Bosphorus Strait “a few hours ago” from the Black Sea, according to a U.S. defense official.

The Russian warship is now in the eastern Mediterranean steaming in the direction of the U.S. warships. The Admiral Grigorovich is armed with advanced Kalibr cruise missiles. Also Friday, one of the American destroyers that launched the missiles into Syria started heading to an undisclosed location to rearm.

This is all choreographed dance.

We survived the Cuban missile crisis. Russia's not going to end it all over a fricking Syrian airbase.

The hysterics around this whole thing are hilarious.

Our 2 destroyers are real scared of that one frigate.

True but it would be stupid for either the US or Russia to go to war over Syria. Frick that noise.

I think it's just a show of force kind of thing. Sh*t will get real though if they fired on us though.

This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we'll be lucky to live through it.

Russia's national interests are vital in Syria. They won't do anything over the airbase, but if there is any further aggression that they sense is a threat to Assad's survival they will most definitely retaliate. Without Syria they are toast. Europe won't have to rely on Russia for energy needs whatsoever.

Russia has both a navy and air force base in Syria. Saudi's want Syria to build a new pipeline through up into Europe. Survival.

You do know what people do when their survival is at stake??

But frigates are used to protect other warships and merchant-marine ships, especially as anti-submarine warfare (ASW) combatants for amphibious expeditionary forces

The very last thing any country on this planet would want to do is get into a fight with the US Navy.

US doesn't own the waters of earth. Who give a shite that there are other boats out there. One battle every country on this planet will lose is a naval battle with the US.

Exactly, the Russian knew about this my guess is the grounded all aircraft during the strike. Also any news of Russian deaths coming from Assad's gov are bs.

As I said earlier, the U.S. and Russia are putting on a choreographed dance beginning with the chemical attack.

This will end in an agreement lifting sanctions and Assad won't gas anyone. Everyone wins except the American people.

Its all part of the plan between Trump and Putin that they were working on from November to January while Trump's wires were tapped.

That is why Rice and Obama needed to monitor Trumps convos. Trump is owned by Russia.

We could take out the entire Russian navy in 90 seconds and Putin knows it. (That was using technology we had I know about 20 years ago.) You have no clue what our weapons systems are really capable of.

But it's 100x what the Russians have. Whether u believe it's an alien alliance, found ufos or just better scientist technology we are beyond whatever u can think of. Russia is no threat to us.

Only concern is a dark state
