Marco is 100% correct are we wasting resources conducting this enforcement when we could be applying those funds towards the wall and securing the border. First and foremost, we need to secure the border after that is when we worry about enforcement. Lastly, Marco is not saying to not enforce federal law however allow the idiots to self select and get arrested get deported.

It's not either/or for me. It's all off the above.
We as a country have the right every other country has to define/defend our borders. We also have the right to say who stays and who goes.
I will not feel guilty about sending illegals back to their countries of origin. As for their children, minors not born here go with mom and dad. Those minors born here should have two options: go back with mom and dad and return at age 18 with birth certificate (but mom and dad stay put), or mom and dad may sign the kids over to legal residents or citizens who will take care of them.
Bottom line: the purpose of legal immigration is to create new CITIZENS. If all they want to do is live here, then "Bye."

Cut off ALL welfare and services to illegals. Start fining businesses $50,000. per hour, per illegal worked. Enforce it. Make a few examples.
The jobs dry up and they go home.
Those who self deport or turn themselves in get to apply to become legal immigrants.
Those caught here illegally forfeit that right forever.

The problem is a lot of these illegals have very valid looking identification. They can pass E-Verify with no problems.
I have a family member who is a CEO of a company that hires lots of Mexicans. He told me that he KNOWS many of them have fake ID's, but he doesn't ask any questions as long as they pass E-verify. He said every now and then he'll get a call that so-in-so is using a fake SSN. He fires them and moves on to the next guy.
It's not as easy as you might think to force businesses to comply. There is a huge industry of faked ID's and papers in Mexico.

Yeah because Cubans such as myself and Marco are productive members of society and slant heavily Republican. Cubans are not freeloaders like Mexicans and their ilk.

I hate the argument the "you cannot blame someone for wanting to better the lives of themselves and their children". I can better my life by robbing a bank too. I know it is against the law, and if I get caught, the I will be punished.
