"Just because Bill Maher is a liberal & a friend there must be 1 standard & we are calling Bill Maher out on using the N word. #HBO needs to come to the table or there will be direct action by the The National Action Network!"

How much $$ will HBO have to pony up to shut up Sharpton?

Shake down artists gonna shake down. It's what they do. I hope HBO doesn't cave, but they will. And I hope Maher doesn't get fired. He's the only liberal on TV willing to speak the truth about Islam.

C'mon be serious. It's not even remotely comparable.

Can Sharpton just die already?

Or at the very least pay his taxes?

Why? If the word is so heinous that it can't be uttered, why is it ok in a movie or song?

I don't really have a dog in the fight because the word doesn't particularly offend me. But there is a difference in censoring art and not allowing your employee to use whatever language he wants during a talk show. I don't even mean this is ideal. I wish people could express themselves however they like. I think the idea of profanity is ridiculous in general. But in our society their is a clear distinction.

Isn't the talk show host an entertainer as well?
