Before Trump even ran for president, He promised to release his tax returns if the president released his birth certificate. Obama released his birth certificate and Trump didn't release his tax returns.
This promise happened before he even thought about running for president.
Out of all the promises Trump made, This is by far the easiest for him to keep. I just don't understand how people can just give him a pass over this.
This reminds me of how people on the SEC rant make ban bets but don't stick to them.

He pays taxes in more than one country. When he releases his tax returns it will be from multiple countries.

You know those tax returns are going to turn up one day. It's almost impossible to keep it from turning up somewhere. It would be fricking hilarious if it turned out to be Wikileaks. I would piss on myself laughing so hard.

Exactly, it was only a resolution which is not a law and can be ignored.
If it was an actual bill (which he could veto anyway), it would be an unconstitutional bill of attainder.

There is only one reason for his refusal to release the returns and that is that they contain information that will be damaging to him as a politician...that information may be meaningless to a civillian but not to someone elected to office.
The same thing is true of the Russia investigation...the only reason he isn't screaming for that investigation to clear him and his administration is because they know what is liable to turn up...if there is no there there it would be obvious. Again there may be no actual there ther but there is enough there there to be problematic politically and the Trump administration knows it....
