Reports of Senator vote being erased

Before voting, I was told to confirm that my choice for senator was selected. After finishing my selections, I went back to check and it had erased my senator vote!

The machine I had this morning screwed up the senator vote. When I hit the button of my choice it did not put an X in the box but put an X at the top saying I made a choice. I immediately stopped and called the workers over to see and have them reset the machine. Worked right on the second try.

Had that problem this AM with the senator vote. I punched my selection, the X by his name lit up, but when I looked back over, it had been deselected. I would guess it was a conspiracy against my Libertarian vote, but the machine did the same thing on more than a couple of the Amendments. Maybe just a faulty machine.

I would suggest these issues be reported to the Secretary of State. They may be "fixed" at the local level and never officially reported.

When I got in the booth (Livingston parish), I hit a few buttons before the light came on and the booth was activated. Landrieu's name was selected when that was not who I was trying to select. I chalked it up to my spamming buttons a few seconds before the booth activated. Anyone else have a similar experience?

on another note....crazy to think that all it would take is a layout error in the buttons or on the labels to totally FUBAR the votes....
