'GOP is a regional party'
'Never win another national election'
'Can't win because of social issues'
'Texas is turning purple'
Etc.

Gues which party is now a regional party with no clear leader for the next national election?

Some of us tried to tell y'all that politics is cyclical.

Well they were half right; the GOPe and the GOP that was dominated by the Bush henchmen (i.e Karl Rove) are dead.

don't get a big head

they got more pop votes

If Trump will actually deport the illegal aliens and get them off the voting rolls, then maybe you can start being cocky

until then I'd advise caution

The GOP even thought they were dead in the water without the minority vote. There was so much talk after the '12 election about needing to reach out to hispanics and other minorities.

In actuality, all they had to do was reach out to the most forgotten and disrespected voting bloc of a U.S. election cycle - white males (which also just so happens to be the biggest voting bloc). That's how Trump won the election. His advisors did the math and took a chance.

That's what happens with shitty Presidents. Now expect a DNC revival in 2020.

That's kind of the point of his post. Politics is cyclical.

The GOP looks pretty fricking dead right now.

Trump mowed through the past, present and future of the party in the primaries and I don't see that Republican Congress pushing through shite.

Now the Trumpican Party seems to have a sunny outlook at the moment.

The GOP has wiped the floor with the DNC since 2010. The losses suffered by the DNC in the House, Senate, and Governor races were historic. The only election they've performed well in is Presidential election and that's because the most politically clueless among us vote in it.
