that i've seen how cozy the bushes and clintons are and how disgusting the whole farce of 'republicans vs democrats' is nothing more than a religion to pit hapless voters in one camp or the other..but either way its the same people getting elected.

disgusting. thank you trump for opening my eyes as to how the repubs and demos want to hold onto their elite power at all costs and how the idea of 'choice' was a fricking joke.

bush passed taxes and 'caved in' because at the end of the day all those frickers are thick as thieves and frick the voters because they can.

why am i MAGA? because its clear NEITHER of the 2 parties want him and its glorious to have someone in there not being led around by the nose.

Another politician will never get elected after he finishes serving. He has exposed them all as full of shite and when he actually helps people in the inner cities and helps clean up this nation the democrats or republicans will
It have a leg to stand on.

It's human nature to want to keep power once you get it. The idea that politicians are different than any other human is ignorant. It's why there should be term limits in Congress. I like Trump, but if he wasn't barred by term limits he (and any other president) would stay in power as long as possible or until they just got tired of dealing with our nations shite.

He will change nothing. Hell just look at all the flip flopping he's done the last 3 weeks. He'll pad the pockets of the wealthy while selling out the future and hurting the middle class and poor.

Damn strainght.

They are playing team vs team instead of people vs government.

That wasn't Trump. Trump is the result of enough people waking up and saying 'frick playing the game.' Trump successfully played on that wave and kicked that beotch's colostomy bag.

He has great potential, but he has some policy positions that help facilitate the playing of the game that we voted to ditch.

This is good. It's pretty fun to watch.

The whole lying, pandering BS is why I have never even bothered to register to vote since Ronnie Raygun.

Every single one of them promises to _______. At the end of their term in office that promise is wholly and totally unfilled, in most cases unaddressed at best and at worst the opposite done.

Then they run for another term and ask for my support???

What?

Vote for the jerk(s) who failed me already?

Don't tell me it's raining while you piss down my leg and expect anything except contempt.

You the son of Carnac or something? I would think some people would have learned by now that making a blanket statement about Trump by putting him into the same boat as politicians as we know them is not your best intellectual opinion.

At some point you have to judge someone by their deeds, otherwise, you're simply judging people on who dislikes who.

Trump has destroyed Crony Capitalism, Conservatism, Austerity and the idea that free markets are infallible....there will not be a politician in any of our lives again who does not espouse the idea of a controlled economy...price controls, tariffs etc who can get elected. The American worker has stared into the abyss of free markets and conservative ideology and no more liked what they saw than what they saw when they looked in the abyss of communism....Reagan is dead in more ways than simply being room temperature....Keynes is about to be proven right to a degree that only those willing to be recognized publicly as a buffoon will ever deny it again...the people have realized that they have the power to do what they want and what they want is protectionism, cheap products and the ability to dictate to capital what is and what ain't....it is a glorious day in the US....labor has finally realized its power...and the only way to keep us from exerting it is to keep us fat, dumb and happy!!!!

Neocons. The wrecking ball of civilization.

Been that way for a long time. There are some outliers. George Lincoln Rockwell gave some good speeches about how crap the political parties were. Referred to the conservatives as a group that just wanted to keep their money bags instead of doing anything.

And there is very, very few places of power like inside the Belt - especially for Congress, Senate, and POTUS. They perks of the offices are incredibly intoxicating. It hasn't always been like that, but it has snow balled.

When I lived in Iowa I used to help manage campaigns statewide and was on the GOP central committee.

One time the family and I were in DC for a vacation and I called a staffer of a senator who I helped in the Iowa GOP process. I was simply asking for advice on what to see since we were in town for just a couple of days and needed to prioritize.

This staffer asked the days I was going to be there and then said on the first morning come by the office. We show up at 9:30 to the senator's office and he makes a call and for the next 2 days we are chauffeured around DC in an unmarked national parks suburban.

Our first stop the suburban pulls up to the very base of the Washington Monument, the line gets stopped for us the monument gets emptied and we as a family go up - alone. Our "guide" is there explaining all about the monument. We took as long as wee wanted, then it was similar things at the Lincoln memorial and everywhere else. If there was a line they weren't for us. We "parked" where ever was closest, if it was something that could be controllably closed they closed it for us.

It was insane. Right then and there I knew there was a problem with the system even though I was benefiting from it.

First major betrayal of a Pub to get along with left. It has gone downhill since then until Trump.
