not paying for what you spend is a vice no matter how you want to spin it.
I guess that's where we'll just have to leave it. I believe that the government spends too much money. My evidence is the $16+ (really $17) trillion debt, over 1/3 of that coming in just the past 4 years. Also, a projected $850 billion to $1 trillion deficit THIS year, alongside projections of a record year for tax receipts bolsters my argument.
I assume you will argue that the huge deficit, despite record receipts is a further argument for even more taxes and spending, which will be squandered on social engineering and wealth redistribution is the answer?
Is that really what you want to argue?
