Question about Trumps new tax plan

I'm clueless when it comes to some stuff like this.
He said that couples will have a zero tax rate on the first $24K they make. A couple questions.
1. Does this mean they won't be taxed for the first $24K?
2. How does this affect your paycheck/take home pay?
3. This has to mean better returns than most people got this year, right?

He's talking about annual Income Tax, not what is taken out of your check. Social security,Federal withholding, state withholding, and the new Obamacare tax out of your take home balance. If you start out making 24,000, you won't pay in on a April 15th income tax. Your take home pay will remain the same, not less. The required taxes are taken out by your employer.

If he gets that corporate tax rate / tax holiday passed he just gave you a new job making more money because every big company on the planet is going to have to seriously consider moving here.
