You're reading too deeply into a single sentence.
There aren't many voices in Washington I'd consider as "voices of reason."
As for Putin mocking the left, I think he's right -- they've gone off the deep end, IMO.

I don't understand how anyone can relate to these two morons? Waters is possible the dumbest person I have ever heard speak. It really gets me when she tries extra hard to sound serious, its like listening to a 4th grader give a book report. How can this person be in government? No doubt she is a lawyer or some bullshite.
