I'm blown away by it. The sad part is, they aren't being "redpilled" due to the right winning them over but because they're being attacked.

I also have a question for the folks who think his fans are of no consequence/this will have no bearing on their future actions:

Hell no. Most of the "alt-righters" we have today came from Gamergate (including Milo) which exposed online communities that were otherwise non-political to the censure of the left. They responded in the only way they knew how; online shite-posting that reaches far more people than even MSM or community organizing can hope to.

That's the way I see it. Millions of kids are going to start rolling their eyes whenever the "Nazi" label gets thrown around, which the progs do every day now.

I'm not saying they're all going to become little republicans, but the bullshite "Nazi" tactic will not have any effect on them.

Hopefully this means identity politics are on the downswing. If EVERYONE is considered a racist, sexist, etc maybe we can drop that part of the conversation and people start paying attention to the facts of an issue.

It's entirely possible you just aren't a part of the YouTube generation, but if you aren't, for the record Pewdiepie isn't what I'd call a political activist. He plays video games and makes Let's Plays for people to watch. His style is annoying in my opinion but the guy is smart and is very popular with younger audiences and older people just don't seem to get the humor or style of these internet celebrities or their modus operandi.

Yeah so first I heard of him was a few years ago whenever the Lets Play thing started to really soar. As I've said, not a huge fan of the idea of a Lets Play but his sub count speaks for itself.

He's one of these internet celebrities who can have coarse humor but nowhere near as bad as popular youtubers such as Filthy Frank and the entire idea of trying to force a narrative that this guy is an anti Semite is not a smart move for any media outlet. That kind of thing absolutely makes such media accusations akin to white noise for those younger viewers and you can't discount just how many of those there are across all of these YouTube gamer channels.
