You guys are Masters at missing the point.
It's a very classic stance for a right-wing person to make the assumption that the only reason black people are doing well in society is because they didn't work hard.
Her point is that simply thinking because you work hard you will be successful is a fallacy and she is correct. Sometimes there are other determining factors that hold people back or help move them to the front.
Pretty simple stuff

I opted to hone my White Ideology and Racist skills by working all weekend. Had a very productive day financially yesterday and today should be even better.
This little $2200 privileged weekend paycheck is a nice trade off to sitting on my arse watching football all weekend.

I don't think anyone( with a working brain) considers it a guarantee,but it damn sure tilts the odds in your favor.
