Now, it's quite misogynistic to subordinate the well-being and will of a woman to that of something without a brain...
We subordinate the well-being of individuals to brainless causes all the time. We take taxes from individuals, hurting them economically, to fund things that have no brain, like Social Security which will eventually destroy its host. I never can understand how you make a distinction between a human life and a person. They are one and the same. Persons are not a subset of humans. If it takes a law to mandate that people like you to respect all human life, then so be it.
As one who espouses the theory of evolution how can you logically advocate for the destruction of unique human genetic material? Permitting abortion puts the whims of individuals ahead of the good of the species. It pretty much blows out of the water any argument that society owes anything to individual members if there is no reciprocal obligation for the individual to society. JFK even said as much in one of his most famous quotes. Was he wrong?
