Ok well I see you don't want to be serious so whatever.

you're seeing this as purely a man being sued for his religious opinions, and honestly it is more than that.

I know it's political. Never said it wasn't. It's just the same damn crap over and over again. There is no breaking news on the Gay Front.

There sure seems to be a ton of "gay threads" lately. But my theory is that it's a rotating schedule with a domino effect that lasts for a few weeks. For example, next we could very well have some relatively minor gun control story out of some corner of Wisconsin and we'd deal with multiple threads on that for awhile.

This case will end up being much ado about nothing. Proof and causation problems.

As for your loophole the argument seems to be that it was public property, but if it's owned by the church then I don't see how it is public property.

It is owned by the church. They do rent it out. So the court decided that they must then rent it out to homosexuals.

Says who? And again, Frankly, this is not even something that happened in the US.

HE preached against homosexuality. You know it, I know it. He did nothing more than that.

Without clicking the link, I'm assuming this is about Scott Lively. If that's the case he helped craft the "Kill the Gays Bill" in Uganda. He's even bragged about it.

literally every.

And frankly that doesn't matter. US courts can try international matter if they have personal jurisdiction over someone.

You think you know more about this case than the judge presiding over it or Scott Lively for that matter? That's why the judge is allowing this case to go forward. He's being sued under the Alien Tort Statute. I thought you were against gays being hunted down and killed? You're no better than Scott Lively .

K let me make sure i have this right: if somebody doesn't think a US judge should be hearing international cases then that person obviously wants gays to be hunted down and killed??? Makes sense to me

In the case of gay people in Uganda, the right to be alive.

I like how the link shows that the minister wrote a book blaming gays for Nazism, Apartheid, the Spanish Inquisition and the French Reign of Terror.
